ONLINE Safety Auditor Training (SAT)

*NOTE: PRINCIPLES OF HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT (PHSM) is the prerequisite for this course.

This course is designed to give participants the skills and knowledge needed to complete a COR internal audit.

It involves structured activities and practical application by completing a “student audit” on a fictitious company. The student audit will need to be completed within 2 weeks of course completion.

By the end of this training, you will be able to:

1. Distinguish the difference between an audit and an inspection


2. Identify health and safety legislation


3. Follow the audit process


4. Extract key information from observational tours and interviews


5. Review and evaluate documentation


6. Complete the audit document with quality written comments


7. Write an Auditor Executive Summary Report


8. Successfully complete an exam


9. Demonstrate your ability through submission of a student audit
