Health & Safety Administration
This one-day course is intended for those who are completing their National Health & Safety Administrator (HSA) or National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation.
A knowledgeable and experienced administrator can be an excellent resource to any workplace’s Health & Safety (H&S) management system.
This course will provide participants with information on how to analyze and measure the effectiveness of the H&S program and discuss methods and opportunities for H&S communication/promotion.
After completing this course participants will have information to use as they:
• Assist management to plan, organize, lead, and control the administration of the health, safety and environmental program.
• Analyze safety-related statistical data.
• Identify trends.
• Make recommendations to management, supervisors, and workers.
• Manage the safety records of the workplace's H&S program.
Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) requires a computer with stable internet access, audio/visual capabilities and a quiet learning space. You will receive an invite by email from the instructor 1-2 days prior to the course. A NSNY staff member will contact you to either arrange for pick up or to have the course materials emailed to you.
