Early and Safe Return to Work is of critical importance. This course explores the history of workers’ compensation, introducing the concept of early and safe return to work following an injury. The legal and policy frameworks that guide and support RTW are provided in the course.  Participants will explore the legal responsibilities of RTW unique to small and to large workplaces. The duty to accommodate; choosing the job; RTW plan development; monitoring, adjusting and problem solving is discussed within the course.
