Confined Space Entry - Awareness
This one-day course is designed to provide company owners, managers, and supervisors the knowledge to develop a confined space entry program.
Course Objectives:
- Owners, managers, and supervisors will learn the steps to take in developing a confined space entry program.
- Participants will recognize the hazards and effective controles in confined spaces.
- Supervisors, and workers learn their assigned responsibility and accountability in a confined space entry plan.

- Definition of confined spaces
- Hazard Identification and Control
- Air Quality Testing
- Applicable legislation - Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations
- Confined Space Entry Plan development
This course is directed to all employers / workers who work in confined spaces.
